Signals Corps Conference 2022

From 15th to 16th June 2022 in Lipník nad Bečvou took place the VI. The Conference of the Signal Corps of the Army of the Czech Republic was organized by the Communication and Information Systems Section (SKIS) of the Ministry of Defence and the Agency of Communication and Information Systems (AKIS) in cooperation with the Czech branch of AFCEA.

URC Systems in cooperation with VVÚ Brno presented the STAR COM communications jammer in practical demonstrations, the JUPITER mobile operations and communications centre in cooperation with representatives of the SPJ PČR Praha, solutions for cooperation between ISR and EW systems within NATO – CSDMAN and CESMOS with JISR Institute, and the suspended STAR jammer solution for UAV systems in cooperation with LIAZ.

The conference was attended by the Director of SKIS MoD of the Czech Republic, Brigadier General Petr Šnajdárek, other representatives of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic, the Czech Army, the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, the Czech Republic, NAKIT, the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic and other companies from the defence and security industry. One of the main points of the conference was crisis management and the resulting conclusions and recommendations for close cooperation, interoperability and compatibility of stationary and deployable IS of individual ministries covering the requirements of the Integrated Rescue System (IRS) and protection and defence of the own territory.
