Delivery of new robotic systems for 15th Engineer Regiment of the Czech Armed Forces

URC Systems, as the exclusive representative of QinetiQ North America, has delivered a total of 7 new robots for the EOD specialists of the 15th Engineer Regiment of the Czech Armed Forces.

The subject of the delivery were Talon 5 and DR-20 IP robots whose main advantage is the use of a new radio system with Wave Relay® MANET technology. This allows, among other things, to increase the range of the robots by means of signal retransmission between the individual deployed robots or control of these robots by means of one universal control unit.

The delivery of these seven robots expands the existing fleet of Czech Armed Forces robots from QinetiQ North America to a total of 30. All of these robots are maintained in deployable condition through regular maintenance, service and repair at URC Systems’ service center.
