In the first half of April, the training of users and successful handover of three more command and control vehicles in the C2VAN variant of the communications and monitoring centre took place. Currently, these vehicles are at the disposal of the Czech Police in all regions of the Czech Republic.
The vehicles also cover the requirements for building a common platform for defence and protection of own territory by military and non-military forces.
C2VAN vehicles provide users with the following functions:
- Mobile command post – partial takeover of the operations centre and control of units in the field;
- Communication centre – providing secure voice and data “SMART” connection of the vehicle with the customer’s stationary systems and cooperating units. The link dynamically adapts to conditions and usage to offer a robust and fast communication channel at all times;
- Video surveillance – monitoring with recording with the possibility of on-line transmission to the customer data network;
- Search mission support – technology for locating lost persons even in difficult terrain using a tracking location system;
- Remote checking support – control of persons and vehicles using specialised software applications and other technologies.
